Here is our little sweetie on October 31, 2008. She was almost 6 months old in these photos. A little update for those of you I haven't spoken with recently. Our case has been delayed in Taiwan due to an over-worked social worker (apparently). So, unless a MIRACLE happens, we will not have Annabella home with us for Christmas. Now we are just praying she is home in January. We need all of you to pray, pray, pray that things move faster for us in the upcoming weeks. We want our baby home! (And no, she still isn't wearing anything I have sent her) I do believe they cut her hair since the last update too.

Annabella is so adorable. She looks happy and seems like she wants to get up and go. Hang in there,hopefully that social worker will get on the ball. My prayers are with you!!

Casey, Annabella is SOOOOOOOO beautiful!!! She really is a gorgeous little girl! She looks so happy and healthy and she is a little wiggle worm! I think you better get ready for some action! She's a wiggle worm-and looks very happy. If it's any consellation, as someone else stated, it looks like she's very well taken care of.

What a beautiful and vibrant baby girl! Her joyful spirit just seems to leap off the page and oh boy, does she look ready to go, go , go!!
So happy the updates came and glad you at least got some news regarding the delays. :( Now we need to hear about that First Ruling, followed immediately by a Final!! :)

She has the same pacifier holder thingy (whatever it's called) that Lachlan had.
I just love her hair, she is soooo stylin' with it. I bet you just can't wait to feed her a bottle and fluff it all up.

She has the same pacifier holder as Mary! I completely understand about a slow process. Hang in there. All your worry and hard ache will melt away once she is in your arms. And she will be in your arms!
It almost looks like she is working out.. lol.. Too sweet she is!!! Love that smile!!

Casey...thanks for stopping by our blog. Annabelle is so precious! I'm soo very sorry for the delay with your social worker. Ugghh...how very frustrating and being soo far away. I think I recall reading that on the JOH board and didn't have a chance to respond. I will keep you, your family, and especially sweet little Annabelle in our prayers and hoping that she is in your arms forever very very soon.
On another note, we never received any of our son's updates with any of the clothes we sent him either and we sent 3 care packages. I was pretty bummed about that..the only consolation is that we got all it back when we picked him up.
Annabella is just the smiliest little thing! She looks like such a joy. I can't wait to hear about your travel news!!!
